Artificial feeding falls within the medical definition of life support.
You may not agree with it, but it is incorrect to say that it is a mis-characterisation of the situation.

Actually, in the poll, people understood "life support" to mean being supported through means such as a ventilator and other such support. Technical definitions aside, it remains a mis-characterization for laymen.
