But what if it was court-ordered bullying?

And what if 68% to 88% of Americans polled supported the bullying?

It would be wrong to ignore the court and stop the bullying, right?

Because we're a nation of laws and courts, right?

Good thing that a lot of FReepers weren't around when slavery and segregation were being fought. A fair number would approve of your bullying were it ordered by a prick in a black robe.

A bit harsh and judgmental, as well as unfair.

Republicans were against slavery and more than a fair amount fought in the Civil War, and more Republicans voted for the civil rights act than democrats.

The nasty comment about religious persons should be withdrawn, as moral and religious leaders may take a stand based upon God's law and if one disagrees, well, so be it, but broad brush smears hardly make your point and is unbecoming.

The stat you reference is misleading, the result of a push poll, whereas most respondents were not following the case and mis-characterize her as being on life support (she was not).

Disagree if you wish, argue if the analogy is apt or not, but be mindful that others take an opposing view and are not "easily led" nor following a "prick in a black robe." (Hmmm. . .come to think of it. . .were you referring to "prick" judges . . .they wear black robes, too.)
