The only real respect for many in America today is reserved for our military..Our institutions have failed us and have looked the other way in the Schiavo situation regardless of the abuse of the Schindler family which we know is true because we have observed it on television the past few days. States Rights is the excuse for the unwillingness to take responsiblility for this terrible atrocity. Our Godless, uneducated media, has used fake polls of the American people to quell dissent of this, for they know that many are influenced by what they see on T.V. about complicated medical situations many know nothing about and have never seen. I believe the manipulation of words turned into insulting lies have prevailed here..Have we Americans become such sheep that we are not going to hold our politician's feet to the fire on this? If they are going to hold office in Washington but they are not going to take the responsibility for upholding the individual rights of our Constitution so that they do not allow judicial tyranny, then, is their purpose simply self-aggrandizement and power..One helpless woman is suffering an unbelieveable death in FL at the hands of our government and the lawyer who helped to bring it about comes out and informs his sympathetic media that her death is a beautiful peaceful thing and that she is not suffering while her family, who truly love and care for her describle a large, swollen tongue, bleeding from her mouth and eyes, a flaking off of her skin and a concentration camp appearance. Brain Washing is taking place here when ideas and concepts are being declared which fly in the face of anyone's conscious ability to think and reason. When Mr. Filos came out and made his ridiculous declaration about Terri's peace and contentment in this horrible death process, every American should have then disbelieved everything else he has ever said. Add to that the fact that Michael Schiavo is going to destroy the evidence of his crime..Terri's body..within an hour after she dies..Who can stand this kind of knowledge?..I am having real trouble with it. I do not just grieve for Terri and her family..I grieve for all of us and what we have obviously lost from our own humanity.
