123! 123 Threads in three (3) days! What the heck is going on? I know this is a very important issue to a lot of people, and I too have very striong feelings, but Holy Mackerel! This is embarrassing. Just look at some of these headlines, threads, and vanities.

When I booted up the puter this morning, I was sickened by this thread: "Terri Bleeding From Eyes and Mouth". Would you want this for someone you know? Is this what we FReepers have become? No better than the sesationalistic lamestream press? I can hardly believe this is my beloved, cherished, respected FRee Republic.

This may even serve as a temporary OPUS, until she (unfortunatly) passes. Go ahead and flame me, I can take it, but I hope I made a couple of you stop and think.

I think people are doing whatever is in their small power to help Terri. And if that meant some guy thought bringing the horror of her plight to light then good for him. We all feel frustrated and helpless by this ghoulish judicial ruling, maybe some people are feeling desparate to find ways to help.

I hope you add yourself to the list. I've never been more gratified by the Freerepublic family, and felt more at home among compatriatots, than I have in the last few days. Conservatives are waking up to the fact that we have a judicial tyranny and Republicans have done little, if anything, about it. That is good news.

I feel very strongly about this case as I'm sure most of us do.

I really don't care about it much, really. And a lot fewer people in the country really care about it (other than wishing it would be over) than many people believe.

Before the inevitable flames begin, it's simply not possible for a human being to care about or be interested in all of the things they should care about or be interested in.

Very few people on FR, for example, seem to care about limiting government spending, for example, despite it being a central tenet of conservatism.

I care a whole lot about accurately warning people about disasters and disaster preparedness, which will have a lot more to do with saving more people than the Schiavo case, but most people really don't care about it that much.

Yes Clyde! If that was my daughter or a loved one, I WOULD WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO KNOW HOW BARBARIC HER COURT ORDERED DEATH IS!!!

I would not want people like you having a 'genteel spot of tea', hidden from all of the barbarism! At the end of WWII, the allies made the German citizens go into the death camps and help bury the bodies, to show them the brutality, rather than let them hide from it.
