With 10,000,000 illegal immigrants already here it is way past time to seal our borders, especially the southern one.

Illegals are a net drain on our resources, especially in the southern border states where hospitals are going out of business because of having to treat illegals for free.

Doing jobs that Americans won't do - ridiculous! If the illegal immigrants didn't do those jobs they would be filled by the law of supply and demand. Sure that might be inflationary, having to pay more to get those jobs done but I believe that over all it would be a plus for our economy with more Americans working and not being part of the drain on social services.

Just my opinion.

What is happening to Terri is pure evil

More like an unfortunate and unusual tragedy where a vicious family squabble gets blown up into a great issue of the time by those who abuse slippery-slope arguments.

I welcome future posts from you, my FRiend. I truly understand the emotion. This story hurts - and will for some time.

My point is if Terri's tube is pulled I don't think stormtroopers are going to be raiding schools and dragging the retarded kids out to extermination camps next week.

The long-term effects of this case are likely basically going to be millions of people doing living wills to make sure their tubes get pulled without controversy if they're in the same state Terri is in now..and that's about it.

Ah.

I didn't mean that about the storm-troopers.

My bad.

I was referring to some of the people I have heard saying that the troops should be called out to "storm the Bastille" and snatch Terri, or who have advocated shooting the cops, or killing MS or Greer.

The ONLY good thing I can see out of this whole sad thing is, that you are right.

More people will make Living Wills to make sure this doesn't happen to THEM or someeone they love.

If people are tired of being told to shut up, or are tired of having people dictate to you what you can and can't post about, Taking Back the News is a good place to post and discuss.

http://www.takebackthenews.com/

Let the sheeple stick to their comfortable topics and await Terri's death so they can forget about it.

To the States rights folks who think States rights should trump the feds and the federal government should never get involved: The Civil War was a states rights issue. You would have been on the side of slavery....some states would allow slavery, some wouldn't. To be consistent, you should support gay marriage in some states and not in others. Just hope you don't get stuck in the wrong state. You should be fine with State courts banning the pledge of allegience in some states and not in others. Or perhaps, allowing euthenasia in some states and not in others. Be careful, you might end up having to move.

My how conservatives change. During the Clinton years we used to make fun of liberals for backing Clinton no matter what he did. He could have nuked an entire country and the libs would have backed him up. Now we're doing the same thing. If Bush is ignoring the judicial crisis and not standing up to it, there is no judicial crisis. If the states are trying to push immoral laws on us, that's okay because we must support states rights issues...the koolaid makes us do this. Sheeple.

Wasn't saying the concerns about her weren't "credible." Was trying to point out that people seem to have enough time to caterwhaul and politicize this tragedy and probably have never done one thing to help out a person in a similiar situation. Of course, it's easier just to scream, shout and complain. Actually doing something is a bit harder.

It's the perfect murder, and it's a stand-up-and-declare-whose-side-you're-on moment in American history.

To: Continental Soldier

dear Continental,
Here's what i have gathered from documents and news....
1. While court appointed MD's found Terri to be PVS, this was years ago and technology and rehab have come a long way, plus, there are many MD's and techs who have sworn affidavits stating that she is not pvs and can be rehabilitated to some level, least of which is eating orally... The most recent evaluation was from a neurologist from Mayo Clinic, this week, at the request of Jeb.......He said he believed that Terri may have been misdiagnosed. by the time he saw her, she was half gone....
2. mikey states in several places and interviews that he won't let her parents take her because they have made his life H-E-double hockey sticks.........
3. There has been an arrangement evidently in the last several years with the hospice, for free care to be reckoned up after Terri's death. this deal was made with Felos, whose wife is on the board. Before this, $700,000 was awarded to Terri from a med malpractice suit for her future care and rehabilitation and therapy, which mikey stopped as soon as he got the money. he was awarded 300,000, for his "loss"....he has received payment as her guardian.
4. his other woman owns an insurance agency, and it is not known if he has a policy on Terri. so far, over 400,000 has gone to pay attorney bills to have terri killed......
5. the parents have said they were willing and ready to care for her. let me place here some links to salient info......

you overlook the pro-death bunch who want to euthanize you when they are tired of caring for you. you have missed a malevolent underside to this story, plus indications that Terri was probably a battered wife........

President Bush and Jeb Bush suffer in a drop in the polls NOT because of what they did or did not do. These poll results are due to the recent split within the GOP. Damned if you did, damned if you didn't. I do agree that the media has tilted these poll results to make it look like the drop is only because of what President Bush did.

Before the Schiavo Case came to the front burner the major issue was this nation's problem with activist liberal judges. Am I the only one to see that the Schiavo Case is nothing but an extension of the problem we have with liberal activist judges?
Both President Bush and Governor Bush have been critised by both liberals and conservatives for the actions they have already taken (though I think they did right) and then you have the rest of the conservatives critising them for actions they have not taken. The possibility of having enough votes for the 'constitutional option' (nuclear option) is what suffers.
Conservatives eating their own rather than inform the American People of the problem this nation has with activist liberal judges.
And I thought it would be illegal immigration that would split the GOP.

Can anybody say PRESIDENT HILLARY?

It's not every day that a judge gives the death penalty to someone who has committed no crime.
