OK, you have a good point. I was just a bit concerned about the craziness of some of the threads I have seen in the last few days. Not to be redundant, but it just cheapens the importance of the issue when whacky accusations are flying. Some of those threads are outrageous.

After reading all these replies, I believe you have proven your point.
I know... what's been really disheartening to me is the really nasty comments posted at other FReepers... I feel like a broken record I know, but Hannity really pissed me off with his "their tendency to eat their own" comment a few weeks back about us but he could not be more correct when you read through the exchanges that have occurred on this forum over the past few weeks/months with regards to this topic...

This has become ridiculous - and what's with the "if you don't agree with us on every issue you must be a liberal" mindset that's become the norm on FR these days? I wonder how many of the people so truly upset about Schiavo have ever done 1 day of volunteer work with people who have such disabilities or afflictions. Something tells me the number is far less than the number of threads started on this site about her.
