The governor shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed(Fla Const art1 sec1a) Judge Greer has ordered Jeb Bush to not follow the Laws of FLA. (See Notice of Filing Case No. 2D05-1455 (3/24/2005) at http://www.state.fl.us/cf_web/ ) Bush can not follow the judges order and the Laws of Florida simultaniously. He by definition is iether breaking law or the order. The Rule of Law requires Jeb Bush to Sweep aside the offending Motions through clemency in the Terri Schiavo case. Only then can he obey his oath. Judge Greer can not require Bush to break his oath to the constitution! Reverse Greer's Court March 23. 2005 Order to Enforce Mandate though a reprieve and allow Dept of Family Services to do its Legaly Required actions.

I think my suggestion simply finesses that issue: since the judges want to be cruelly clever about the 8th Amendment (and I believe them to be wrong anyway on the issue), then I would suggest that we be clever right back with a blanket restoration of her civil rights. It doesn't matter whether or not they have been violated in that case -- it is just a "reset" back to their full status.

So what was Terri's crime that greer sentenced her to execution? And with a death sentence upon her, why isn't it proper to pardon her--you can leave a freakin' blank in the crime portion of the sentence, though no naming of the crime is required with a pardon/reprieve? Why do you insist she must be put down now rather than three months from now?... Because your ilk know the momentum would shift to the nation not being in favor of executing a disabled woman when the whole truth of Schiavo/Greer/Felos/Hospice hits the fan blades! Go away, you're getting your sacrifice to the rites of serialized killing.

I am going to be right in the thick of the lunacy and hysteria that will occur when Terri passes. Why is that? to get my .02 in that it IS NOT the fault of the Bushes in this case. She would be dead and buried already if it werent for Jeb. I REALLY WISH SOMEONE WOULD REMEMBER THAT BESIDES MYSELF!!!
You can blame Greer, MS, Felos and the people that elected Greer down in Florida, and you can also blame the court system itself, but I won't let anyone blame Jeb without getting my shots in.
