I do know that Terri's own lawyers, one of whom was appointed by Jeb, found no basis for the abuse allegations. Terri's own lawyers practically begged the Schindlers to present medical testimony more credible than what they relied upon (one even wondered why the most qualified doc they hired [Webber, I think?], whose affidavit was used to actually get a new hearing, did not provide testimony at the hearing). It baffles me why manner in which Terri's been warehoused in hospice isn't considered neglect.

Did you know the parents tried to take care of her initially, only later to have her placed in Hospice?

Not sure exactly what you are saying here, but hospices exist because there are many, many patients who cannot be cared for by their families, but are not considered to need hospital care. People who can get better go to hospitals. People who will not get better go to hospices.
Additionally, Terri has never had a bedsore in all the years she has been bed ridden. That would indicate incredibly good care, as well as significant family involvement.
