I wonder if Terri would consider herself lucky.

Please do everything in your power to get laws you consider unjust changed.

If she dies it will be Pontius Pilate himself, Jeb Bush. He has the power to rescue her and if he doesn't do it because of political considerations he is the villian.

Probably not. I think she would be horrified at the spectacle being made of her. Did you see pictures of her prior to this happening? She was gorgeous. I beautiful woman like that would be horrified by the pictures of what she is now plastered 24/7 on our TV screens.

Ok, we both agree it is criminal that Christian Scientists are able to deny insulin to diabetic children.
The question is, should people be fighting to stop this or do some groups get a bye because they cloak themselves in religion?

When your ideology cant yield to all common sense youre a robot. Spousal Guardianship is set up when you actually have a
marriage, not when your husband is a bigamist with a conflict of interest and quite possibly complicit in your demise. Federal intervention is called for when the states fail. Thats why we have the national guard, for example, and appeals to the Federal courts when state judges and state statutes are blatantly in error.
This case however has nothing to do with statute or the rule of law it has to do with murder, plain and simple. The judiciary can stick this case up its collective case law. We also have a legislature, designed to be a co-equal branch of government as well as an executive branch. They have every right to act.
If your ideology causes you to lay prostrate at the feet of a decrepit state legislature and an even more screwed up federal bench you are mindless. Heroes step in when there is a great injustice. Morons cling to their ideology because they are too weak to think outside the box.

You're absolutely right. However, continuing down the same road is not the answer.

The politicians who are exploiting this tragedy are the real villains. As for the family, the whole thing is a tragedy.

"You know and I know that food is not life support in the same context as a ventilator."In this case food is most certainly is life support. Theresa cannot eat on her own.
Again, I realize this is not to your liking, but consider it was not G.Mason who ordered this action.
There is no "Solomon" in this guy, and I feel very sorry for those that must make these decisions.
This simply means there will be less and less people stepping up to the plate to serve in government, and we will eventually be taken over by mobs.
