The guy has made numerous hit movies, yet these studio guys always want to change his vision. Why do they always end up taking a proven hit maker and try to change them. sounds like poor business to me.

I was surprised to see the other day that Shyamalan also wrote the screenplay for "Stuart Little." Not quite the kind of fare you would expect to come from him.
