Abortion has already done that. Why is it illegal to kill a newborn baby, leave it in a dumpster, yet 2 hours earlier that baby is a 'fetus' and it's legal to kill him? That slippery slope started 33 years ago.

Is that all the forums, or just news?
so we stop fighting?
All forums.
Never said that. We just need to stop posting redundant threads that are beginning to turn of posters. The message is becoming overwhelming. Maybe someone active in this should start a daily breaking news thread, where every little nuance can be posted, instead of 6-8 seperate threads and vanities. I'm sure those in charge would work with someone. Do you know who might lead this? I am appalled by all this as everyone else.
You have to make one soon, you're entire outlook on what FR is about will change. At least, plan a get together with the FReepers from your area, have a Saturday night get together. You can plan it on your state page, or contact a FReeper friend and ask what you need to do to put something like this together. It's really fun!
My wife wants to go, and we could probably be there in 10-12 hours; but there is the matter of her 90 year old blind father with a broken arm, whom she is now spoon feeding his supper.
Were it not for him, we would be on the road right now.
Feel better now?
It's hard to keep up, no doubt about it, but this is an extremely important issue to most FReepers. Please bear with us.
Attend a FReep event, you'll never regret it. It's as fun as a vacation, so plan your vacation around a freep. Make it an intergral part of your plans. You'll never regret it for a minute. It's like a right of passage, once you've actually freeped, you have an unspoken bond with all those who have as well. It's amazing! What a power FR has for conservatives! And, if you do freep, take a camera, post a thread and your pics (you know how we love pics) and let us all know how fantastic your experience was. My favorite FR threads are after action reports. I gobble that stuff up. It's just not the same being a freeper and posting until you've 'gone out there'.
I see where you are coming from, better. I think it may have someting to do with how much weight we put on what is happening in Florida, with this woman.
I rank it as important as our response to 9/11; and that because it has broken huge. Terri is not the first, nor will she be the last to have this happen to her. But, due to the wide exposure, it now becomes time to clearly understand what it is all about.
Others think it of lesser importance than I do.
I can agree with your frustration over the newbs showing up and running rampant, regardless of which side they are on. But, that is the way it is.
So, my main beef is, why can't we put this much effort into judicial tyranny? That's where it started. That's where everything starts. Where will all these Terri posters be when fighting the root cause? grrrrrr!
Buy a clue. She absolutely knew she was getting arrested. What you call "posturing" is an act meant to call attention to the unspeakable injustice being done to Terri.
And should shame those who have the power to save her, but hide in the "legal" system" which is experiencing final collapse.
I fear, it is too late.
I can only hope we have some redeming value left. It's been a hard battle, we are barely in the lead. Maybe, just maybe, God isn't done with the US yet, I pray that is so.
