It appears that Terri Schiavo is going to be starved and dehydrated. I don't see how it going to be stopped short of a kidnapping to save her life.
If we are to believe sworn affidavits, Michael Schiavo denied his beloved wife rehab, speech, and occupational therapy. Terri actually was able to drink from a baby bottle and ate pudding and jello. He threatened to fire a nurse if she got nourishment from anything but the feeding tube?
Why just the feeding tube? Because he could have that pulled and starve her to death. He had no interest in seeing that she learn to eat again.
A nurse has said that Terri was able to say "mommy," "help me," "hi," and express when she was in pain.
Terri is also being denied communion.
Michael thinks it is over when he has managed to starve and dehydrate her to death? No, Michael, I don't think so.
There will be a wrongful death suit filed of perhaps $20 million. The evidence will come out about the denial of rehab. Her broken bones will be investigated. Ultimately, Michael, some of the truth is going to see the light of day. You are not going to get away with it. Not in this life. Not in the next.
LPN=Licensed Practical (I think) Nurse.
LOL....feel free to spread it around. I simply have more questions than answers about this entire pvs diagnosis. And what is REALLY going on, that we don't know, or can't quantify. This woman's story raised MANY more questions.
Perhaps people will be prompted to try and catch Cavutto's interview of this woman when he is aired later tonight.
I know pies...I should've worded that different, OR put a sarcasm tag after it.
Some say she's brain dead, doesn't feel pain, etc., yet do the morphine. I ask, if she truly DOESN'T feel pain, WHY the morphine?
Bump!
I'm for being able to discussion ALL the facts and ramifications of this case without being called a murderer.
The inhumanity of all of this just has me so very sick to my stomach. People treat their outdoor DOGS better than the subhuman "husband" has treated poor Terri over the last several years. So absolutely disgraceful and stomach-turning. And to deny Terri's TRUE loved ones to be together with her--comforting her--and they being able to LOVE her in her now so very weakened and scared and needy state IN death's door...it's all beyond any word accept one: EVIL.
She's presenting herself as an R.N. who took care of Terri; she wasn't one then.
And if the reason she was fired was because she "told," she had a great case for discrimination and there is no record of her filing a claim against the nursing home.
For later reading interesting thought DFU
She would be uncomfortable from the effects of the dehydration. I don't buy this doesn't feel pain argument. I've taken care of patients that were in a PVS and I can verify that they felt pain and discomfort. A nurse can see the signs of that. Maybe some other nurses on here have seen otherwise. This has been my experience. I don't believe myself, from seeing the videos that Terri is in a PVS. She is severely brain-damaged.
Ditto. Heck, ditto on your whole post!!!
Kate Adamson and her husband on Hannity last night were POWERFUL. ABSOLUTELY POWERFUL.
At one point during Kate's having been left for certain death, Kate's husband hung a sign above Kate's HOSPITAL bed (not straight to HOSPICE,) that read "THIS IS A HUMAN BEING," because of the way the doctors, staff and others ASSUMED her to be.
Kate's story and pictures of when she was left for certain DEATH were HARD TO BEAR.
BUMP YOUR POST, Justshe!
Bump it again. Yeah, that's right, AGAIN.
Excellent rant.
LOL! A smile today......thank you.
"She's presenting herself as an R.N. who took care of Terri; she wasn't one then."
We have heard differently then. It really doesn't matter to me if she was an LPN or an RN at the time.
Right. Sure. Facts mean nothing anymore.
"Some are permanent"
They bury people with feeding tubes, or they just leave it in an don't bury them?
Move. It's a swamp.
What difference does it make what level of nurse she was at the time? Could you please point me in the direction of the evidence that proves this nurse is not credible? I would be interested in reading the information.
"A good troll answer - answer, but offer no verifiable evidence."
BB That's not an answer to DeeJay's question.
I've been here a lot longer than both of you....nah nah nah.
Seriously, there's enough back and forth heated words, why not stick to the topic and offer what each knows? Sound reasonable?
