Your saddle is cool for trails... it's almost like an aussie saddle... or is that what it is?

No, it's a multi-purpose type saddle. It's not as far forward as a jumping saddle but not as straight in the fenders as a dressage. Mine is an Ortho-Flex Stitchdown model. I bought it about 12 yrs ago, but they've gotten really pricey now (about $2600!) so I can't afford a new one. Here's what they look like now...

You can't see the flex panels on mine because they're inside the fleece pad, which attaches with Velcro, kinda like a sock, but if you take the pad off, mine looks pretty similar.
