Unfortunately, you can't load it if it's not on the truck... It could tip up when they step on the back.

And I think they'll load just fine in it. :~D

We're leaving it there till Dad brings the truck down.

Oh. I thought it was a bumper load and would fit your car. We don't pull with it but we can hook up with our jeep. I picked up a long time ago here what happens if you don't have it attached:')
