A few other things I have been observing about her....she is drinking an inordinate amount of water. I'm filling her water trough 2 times a day, and it's the size of those muck buckets with the rope handles. You know what I mean? She is drinking so much that the wet spot where she pees, never dries, she is peeing so much. Does that mean anything?

Can horses be diabetics? Would that cause them to loose a baby in the last few months?

Another thing after Dot was weaned, Belle had a bag with milk for about a year. Is that normal? Could she have some kind of hormone problem?

Can horses have the RH negative blood problem like people can?

That is a lot of water consumption... I use two of those muck buckets for three horses, and we fill them once a day, and that's just to top them off.... they really could go two days. Does she have a salt/mineral block? Does she go through a lot of salt?

The other questions, I really don't know. I hope your vet comes out and you can ask her.
