Huh. Your right. I was reading in my raising horses book and it says don't allow to overeat on lush pastures but what is overeat? It's not like you can wait til they get sick and then back them off.

We've never been able to figure that out. Originally we thought is was flies or gnats but I have a heavy mask on him, even the ears are lined, a fly collar and a bunch of fly products on his face and he's still friggin' scratching his ears. I need to take him to Texas A & M but it's hours away and I just don't have time. Prednisone works for a couple of months but that's not a cure. (it can also cause founder, of course) I've tried antihistamines but so far, no luck. I've had some luck with blue/green algae so I'll start him back on that tomorrow and see what happens.
