Becky - I can understand your feelings - but I'm sure you handled it well.... Sometimes adding another person to the "mix" just adds to the danger. I'm thinking back to my episode where my paint tried to lie down in a creek with narrow banks and trapped my leg against the side... If my daughter had come over closer - it might have made him flail about more. He was fairly still until I squeezed my leg out and jumped up the bank.... then he started flopping around and falling and I thought he was going to break a leg!!! Thank the Lord - he was OK and now I know he should not be ridden into a stream and allowed to meander around - LOL
Hope your friend and her horse are OK today. Have you checked on her? Cindy

No, I haven't heard from her today. She works full time, and leaves home pretty early in the morning. I'm suppose to ride with her again tonight. It will be interesting to see if the horse is sore.
