She's probably just not fully in season yet. Both my mares will kick a stud's brains out if you try to breed them when they're not ready, even though they have breeding hobbles on. But when they're finally ready, they'll stand there like a statue.

I can't believe this guy doesn't use them. Every stud owner I've ever dealt with uses them, even if the mare appears ready to stand. They can change their mind at the last minute and lash out. They don't hurt the mare at all either, they're just a safety thing.

I don't know why he doesn't use breeding hobbles, but he doesn't, he says he doesn't even own any, and I am in no position to argue. I love his stud.

We'll see, last try today at five o'clock!
