I have never argued that President George W. Bush did not have the power to act in this manner. Try reading what I wrote again.

My question is what happens if he DOES NOT ACT? What are you willing to do at that point? People called for the impeachment of judges Greer and Whittemore because they ruled the way they ruled. Others have called for the impeachment of the judges in California and in Massachusetts who ruled in favor of gay marriages. Fine I don't agree with those issues either.

Since you are claiming to be the better legal scholar, I'll put it to you, exactly what law, or court ruling would you have the President enforce? Terri's right to Due Process? That was ruled upon twice now (I've read both rulings twice). Granted, the results were not what I nor hundreds and thousands of others would have liked. So if the President signs an Executive Order, what would he enforce? What law?

The person I have fault with is the attorney for the Schindlers who had the opportunity to show why they might preveil in a new case, and failed each time.
