How is this for rude? I have to post and run for a while.

My beloved dog Cheyenne took a bad turn last night. It might just be her arthritis--the vet said to give her some buffered aspirin (none in the house, natch) and wait a few hours. If she doesn't improve, I'll take her in to the vet.

I have had this wonderful pooch since she was a few months old. She is now 14. Her health has been excellent with the exception of the arthritis, which hasn't given her any problems this winter...until now. Last night she stood up and tried to walk out of the room and her legs collapsed beneath her. She tried again and failed, tried and failed. I got her to sit down and massaged her legs, hoping it was just a cramp. After getting a good, thorough rubdown she decided she didn't want to get up after all and went to sleep. This morning she has been falling down all over the place.

I'm off to the store now, I'll try to check back in around noon.

With regard to manners, working in a restaurant has been one scary eye-opener. Yeesh!

Your poor pooch..........I know exactly what you are dealing with, as I am going through the same thing with my Anisette, she's 12 and I've had her since she was 8 weeks old.

I'm sure working in the restaurant has been an unbelievable eye openner when it comes to manners. So many people have no idea how to behave in public.........and I'm not talking about children, either.

Sorry to hear about your doggie!

Some people treat rudeness as their right. Some people are so egocentric they do not see how their behavior affects others, or don't care. They are too busy pushing, shoving, and yelling their way through life. I recently had a woman at the grocery store push her cart in front of mine WHILE I WAS IN LINE FOR THE CHECKOUT. Then she just shot me a dirty look, like "go ahead and say something" I had the baby and figured she was crazy, so I just switched lines.

Easter pictures!
