I turned 30 years old some 9 years ago. It was hard for me to turn 30 (just like you), but I will tell you that going from 30 to 40 goes a lot faster than what is does from 20 to 30. So get past your 30th birthday blues and stop worrying about getting older and just start enjoying everyday of your life more and try to live a healthy lifestyle and should live a nice long life. You will mellow out more also while you are in your 30's. Life gets better everyday once you start living it and stop worrying about how old you are or that you are getting older.
Now I am pushing 40 (I will be 39 in July) and it does not bother me one bit. Bring it on 40! Bring it on 50! Bring it on 60! Bring it on 70+! - I welcome you!
Stop worrying and start enjoying!

I'll be 39 in July also. In some ways, it feels weird but on many other ways, I feel much the same when I was in high school. I still hang with my buddy from grade school who will be 40 this year, sometimes though, when we get together and hatch some plan, we still feel much the same as we were when we were kids. B-)
It does seem like the time flies fast. BTW, saw your profile page, I know what it is like to lose a pet, I lost one of my cats, Muffin, last year, she was a black (actually sable) Burmese cat. She was very special, all my 8 cats are, but what made her special is that she was my aunt's cat, a few days before she died of cancer, she asked us to take care of Muffin.
