the summer of Elaine Fayman..before my freshman year of college, I was working at Grossinger's..she was a sophomore nursing student at U of Bridgeport..working in the infrimary..my first car..a Studebaker Lark..my first girl..my first time..with my first girl, in the back seat of my first car...Satisfaction on the radio...Murray the K submarine racer watchers..the Beach Boys..life was sweeeeet....and Goldwater was gonna be the nominee that fall..and I was invited to a YAF lucnheon at Bill Buckley's house in Sharon CT..
