Interesting observation that Carrie does not move well, ken5050. I rarely watch AI so hadn't realized it.

I did watch last night, intermittently clicking over to the country music awards and noticed that none of the country women can move worth a darn. They're all sort of clumping around, as is Carrie. Clearly, if Carrie belongs anywhere, it's in country. (Country's not my deal, but I must say that Kenny Chesney has one marvelous deep rich interesting voice with a lot of range.)

My predictions:

Carrie is going home tonight.

Vonzelle might win the entire thing, which would be OK with me as she has that fire that other contestants do not have and might learn to sing really well with adequate coaching. She does, after all, have a full-time job and limited time to practice now.

Bo Beige is overrated and stretched to the max on his talent. Nowhere to go from here with that only sometimes OK voice, mediocre presentation and lousy looks. I truly hope he does not win. But he will, with Vonzella a close second.

Hi Ken, sorry to respond so late. I just started a new job and am very limited in the time I can spend online now.

I did see Nashville Star. I'm not at all a fan of Erica Jo's, but you're right. She has that ability to sell a song that Carrie has just not learned yet. But Carrie is by far the better vocalist.
