Rod Stewart's estranged wife Rachel Hunter has hinted catwalk beauty Penny Lancaster has agreed to marry the rocker for his money.
The 60-year-old singer proposed to Lancaster on Saturday during a romantic trip to Paris, France's Eiffel Tower.
But just a day after the couple announced their engagement, Hunter suggested Lancaster accepted the proposal for financial reasons.
She says: "I used to think marriage was so beautiful, but right now, it's just one big ugly contract.
"It is all about money, what people can get, and it has very little to do with church and vows. That is not me being angry, because I had a great marriage.
"The contract between Rod and me wasn't important, because I didn't take anything.
"But if you are truly in love with someone, why get that piece of paper from the government?"

According to Rachel, Rod would 'ignore' her in favor of watching football (soccer, not the Patriots) on TV. Sheesh!

All men ignore their wives to watch sports. Can't hold that against him!

I have no doubt Rod Stewart's reply to this would be "and the problem with this woman wanting to marry me for my money is..............."
guess I'm not seeing your point Rachel

Why does the line from the song "Money from nothing" keep running through my head? It goes like "The little faggot, he's a millionaire."

LOL. I tried the breaking news bit, but the moderator disagreed. I'm not going to complain though, at least he didn't consider the scantily clad pic to be "porn" and ban me for life!

Did you know it is a stipulation that every woman Rod Stewart dates or marries MUST keep their hair blonde and never dye it?

Yeah, but I'm guessing Stewart's famous shag is a wig by now.

She is scantily clad - isn't she.
I would like to thank you for not putting up a photo of a scantily clad Rod Stewart....

Not scantily clad, but I'm sure it was the poster you had in your bedroom as a young lass...
Notice the muscular arms...

Speaking of Hunting Threads...
I woke up too early this morning and watched CRIBS on MTV (there isn't much on at 4am) and they had an episode with Ted Nugent.
He was hilarious! Talking about the American Dream and hunting and horsepower. AND... he obviously adored his wife.
Usually - it's scumbag hip hop rappers and sports figures who can hardly speak English but have a Bentley, Benz and, of course, the Escalade (with the 28" rims).
WTF?

The MTV crowd likely doesn't who Terrible Ted is. In fact, if it weren't for him showing up at conservative political events the last couple of years, I'd of thought he was dead (kinda like his musical career).
Unfortunately, we get to see ads for Rod's "Crooning the Oldies" during Brit Hume's show!

Maybe Rachel is feeling a little jealous.
To: pissant
What I noticed is that she is refreshingly smaller in the chest region than some models. I like when you see woman with a chest that looks more like the rest of us women who are NOT D cups.
To: conservativebabe
Yeah, Rod just did what all aging rock stars do. Trade in his 40 yo blonde for a 25 yo model.
