There is no reason given, but I am glad to see Nikko back in the runing.

This is a web exclusive!

He must have gotten in trouble. Not a big fan of either.

Ohmigosh, do you think we'll find out why? He was doing very well I thought, really a natural performer.

This is the first time I've actually watched American Idol. I'm enjoying it very much. Say what you like against it, but it is basically just some clean entertainment. Oh, they are a little racuous during the audition weeks, but there is no encouragement of back stabbing amoung the contestants, no silly or degrading stunts, and just some talented folks singing. In fact, I like everyone so much I haven't voted for anyone yet, just can't pick one over another.

This show and The Greatest Race I find very enjoyable.

Bump for breaking news...

Wow, this is a shocker.. The odds makers had him as #2, some as #1 to win. Pulling out..

My guess is that there's a contract somewhere that is coming back to bite him. But I'll also wager that before the competition is over with, he'll have a record out.

Excellent. Mario was "over-rated." I thought Nikko was pretty good. He's not as good as Bo Bice or Anwar, but I'm glad to see him back.
As for the girls....Carrie Underwood. Hands down!

I have seen rumors on the web that 2 of the 12 idols are gay, Anwar is one and Vazquez is the other, but those are rumors on some other forums.

Nikko Smith is awesome and got completely screwed last week. Hopefully he'll get a fairer chance now. Plus his dad Ozzie Smith is one of my all time favorites.

Saw this on Zap2it. Very weird. My first thought was that Mario has baggage. I didn't like Nikko in the beginning, but I'm glad he's getting another chance--he deserves it.
