fused sentence

A sentence in which two or more independent clauses are not properly joined by a semicolon or conjunction. Also called run-on sentence.

FS - one common variant in American English is the CS, comma splice, which is using a comma like a conjunction or semi-colon. Not necessarily considered a sentence flaw in British English, and most certainly is not a sentence flaw in French for some reason.
