They're calling Freepers "tree-huggers" and "PETA freaks." They really don't know who they're talking about! LOL. I'm also being called on the carpet for owning a greyhound, because racing greyhounds are often abused. HELLO - that's WHY I have a greyhound, folks! It's called "rescue" - ever hear of it?

I'm against BSL and I think I have raised some good points - none of which have been addressed by these people. Why do the dogs need to stay dog-aggressive if their primary purposes are conformation showing, weight-pulling and family pets? And why is this an unreasonable question to ask?

What is it 'telling' you?
Picking a post and using it to characterize these folks and their board is unfair.
I would not like it if someone did that about FR.

Why didn't you use post #14 off the 2nd page?

Saddest thing and FOR A FACT -- this is a great board with great members, full of all different types. Every board has it's idiots - everyone knows that all to well, now don't we. Must important thing is to remember how you are representing yourself on a public forum! Shame people have nothing better to do than to 'fabricate' what they want by reading just a few posts one time and automatically making an assumption based on one or two historical threads. There is plenty of useful information on this board, and plenty of people willing to help and teach if someone cares to take the time to read and learn.

Saying kiss my ass only makes you guys look like ignorant fools, although they dont have the same views as alot of us do its worth trying to educate them, rather than calling names and acting like an immature kid. That will solve nothing. We all need to work together to stop bsl and thats not the way to go about doing it. Ya know?

FR to me is about the honest search for understanding.
If there are disagreements they are discussed rationally and with respect and courtesy for each other.
If I come into it with an agenda and only pick what bolsters my preconceived outlook,
I do myself and FR a disserve.
