Just heard a loud rumble. Thought it was just my neighborhood in south St. Pete. Now getting calls from friends across town asking if we felt it.
Somebody else just posted a thread asking about it.
The mod pulled the thread, but he said it was felt from Crystal River to Bradenton.
All quiet in Southrin Virginny....
Thank you for posting the condensed thread.
I have been in the shower.
Hmm. Sitting here in my house in Brevard, NC. Didn't know we had a resident missile site here! ;^)
My sister just heard on the news two f-18's decided to slow down at the same time. It evidently was a double sonic boom.
I understand that it was felt from Manatee County to Citrus county. We are moving to Hernando tomorrow so I guess we would have experienced in that house too! LOL!
It's gotta have something to do with the launch. imo.
Where in Hernando?
Heh... np.
Alot of people were reporting in from their states (something I nerd-ishly find exhilerating) and I was one of them.
I felt bad, mucking up the thread, so figurd I post the posts that contained pertanent info.
Look at me... I'm an editor!
Seriously though... thx for the appretiation, it will assure I continue to take the time and 'pay it forward' when I can. :)
I live near a joint readiness base and the helicopters were flying low today. They shook the house, kind of cool and disconcerting at the same time.
OK, get serious.
Just WHAT are you smoking tonight?
interesting story today about the crystal river nuclear plant...

Yep, that's what they're saying...
Weeki Wachee! Woodland Waters.
I visited KFC a few weeks ago. There was a lunch there to see.
Well that's interesting...first I've heard of it.
Smoking? Nothing! ... its early yet.
I'm only relaxing, doing some Freeping, watching TV and having a Rum & Coke.
Smoking comes later (remember... I'm a "south park republican") and I write... in ... prose and CAPITOLIZE things I want to EMPHAZISE.
Anyway... you would be SHOCKED to see how quick CapHill become 'calm' on a Friday Afternoon when the congressmen and senators go home for the weekend.
Pretty up that way, but civilization has even invaded there.
I was so surprised last time we drove up 19 that it was basically city all the way up. (granted we don't drive 19 very often, LOL)
You are right. We have, maybe five years before 19 becomes as congested as it is in New Port Richey. What part of Tampa Bay are you in?
We're south St. Pete, almost to the Skyway.
