The sixth and final Star Wars movie may not be suitable for young children, film-maker George Lucas has said. He told US TV show 60 Minutes that Revenge of the Sith would be the darkest and most violent of the series.
"I don't think I would take a five or six-year-old to this," he told the CBS programme, to be aired on Sunday.
Lucas predicted the film would get a US rating advising parents some scenes may be unsuitable for under-13s. It opens in the UK and US on 19 May.

Lucas envisioned 9 episodes and 7, 8 and 9 were supposed to be the further adventures of Luke Skywalker and Co.
Hard to imagine that someone wouldn't pick it up and produce/direct them if Lucas didn't want to.
There's talk that Kevin Smith of Clerks fame will be involved in doing some sort of post ROTJ TV SW show.
Pretty sure Lucas is done. Maybe tv shows but the movies are over. he admitted he had no idea what to do after Return of the Jedi last I heard.
Then, that would put him at the bottom of the old imagination ladder. It shouldn't take too much effort to come up with something that would get kids and Star Wars geeks like me into a theatre.
well the end of Jedi was pretty happy. Empire defeated, good days ahead. I dont know if there is much story there.
Han and Leia kids learn the force from luke? I dunno.
I know there was a comic book called Dark Empire I think, but it went with the emperor still being alive or something like that. Been too long, not sure.
Heh... I love SW and thought AToC was great, tough TPM was a bit hoaky in parts.
Aaaanyways.... contrast this with how "Million Dollar Baby" was promoted.
Good for Lucas, I was hoping RotS was going to be 'darker'. I mean at the end of it everything pretty much has to be set up for ANH which is a pretty 'dark' time for the Republic.
Shows like Battlestar Galatica (new one on SciFi/Sky) are great becuase they aren't all "ping ping" lasers and black and white characters.
In RotS you literally see the HERO of the 1st 2 movies become the villan for the next 4. Such character depth is rare these days and I appretiate it.
Those SW hata's (either the anti-scifi crowd, or their dipole, the "Puritan" trekkers) usually overanalyze things to death, and actually actively hinder their own entertainment" (I HATE wathing movies/tv with these people.... 'man... that would NEVER happen' while we are watching "Independace Day" and such)
Last I heard, Lucas was working with Spielburg on a 4th installment to Indiana Jones movies to release as well.
I read the specifics over at aintitcoolnews.com a while back but the gist is another adventure like the other 3 but Indiana had a young study with him which would do the 'action' while Harrison flushed out the character depth and advanced the story.
Closer comes out on 3/29 on DVD. If your into Portman buy that one, she plays an exotic dancer.
harrison ford has gotten too old and loopy. Gawed I loved the guy forever but he has totally lost me. Indiana Jones is a great character. Raiders was by far the best. Temple of doom downright silly in areas but the Indy character carried it. Crusade better but all the Dad this and Dad that got old and Marcus was a doddering fool was sad. It was great in other areas though, the whole Hitler scene was great. I really like the in charge Indy from Raiders the most. My idea would be to get a young actor and start there. The kid from the TV show might work pretty well and start doing Indy movies like James Bond movies. Wont happen though.
A waste of money, time, and effort
and that's watching it on HBOShowStarzMax
Very funny.
Can't claim all the credit. Much of that's been floating around for years.
Art imitates life:

A US Senate hopeful in the state of Montana has a bad case of the blues after years of drinking a home-made silver solution for medical reasons.
Libertarian candidate Stan Jones, 63, first discovered his skin was turning blue last year.
He began taking colloidal silver in 1999 amid fears that disruptions caused by the millennium bug might lead to a shortage of antibiotics.
That must be where GL got the idea from.
I'd like to shoot that thing....right in its voice box.
I don't think so. But I only know the way Peter Jackson does his LOTR cameos and they're kind of last-minute.
You think GL's was last minute? What about his kids?
I don't know for sure, but I would guess he knows when the crowd scenes are and figures that's when he'll do it.
