Singer-songwriter and former rodeo champion Chris LeDoux died Wednesday (March 9) following a lengthy battle with liver ailments, a Capitol Records spokesperson confirmed Wednesday afternoon (March 9). He was 56.

Saw Chris Ledoux at the county fair years ago, touring with an equally lesser known country star at the time, Garth Brooks.
