There are guys who get away with brutal rape (think President Clinton) and there are guys who are falsely, and not infrequently, accused of rape. You can't have a different standard for rape as you do for other crimes in our justice system (the presumption of innocence, the right to face one's accuser in open court etc.) Some feminists want a different standard.
I was accused of "Assault and Battery" on an empolyee I terminated. I never touched her. I am 6'3", 250lbs. She was 4'6" and pregnant. I terminated her for insubordination. She immediatley went to the Magistrate and filed the complaint. On the day of the trial, she tried to have the charges dismissed. She couldn't even look at me in the eye. Here's the kicker...The judge went to dismiss the case, the prosecuting attorney took a look at me and then looked at the judge and said,"I don't like this...we should go ahead and prosecute." I became guilty by my size on a crime I didn't commit....The case was dismissed anyway...
Any woman can cry to the magistrate and get her way in court. the man accused is automatically guilty and has to be proven innocent.
