Oh, my, I didn't think anybody would really be interested in bankruptcy reform, let alone read the proposed legislation. Wow. Most attorneys, even those who practice in bankruptcy court, turn their faces away when one mentions bankruptcy.

Of course, the people intimately associated with the current code, and the administration thereof have been dreading this (proposed amendment)for a long time, increased costs of administration. . . ah, don't get me started.

Back in the 1980's I came too close to bankruptcy, but avoided it. People I know well have been in Chapter 13. Finances are something that wasn't taught in school when I was there in the 1950's. Personal finance has been revolutionized by the credit explosion. People have to work to hard to survive that change.
