Dig the exhaust stack!
A little hot on the backside I would think.
Yup, but the dealers will probably love it.
If you want a theme bike to advertise your company, these guys do it pretty good.
Saw the fire bike at Sturgis in 2003 (Got some spectacular close-ups) and have to say these guys can build 'em. Attention to detail is incredible.
It's ugly, but appropriate for a Cat. Every bike those guys make has the smae basic geometry, which I hate.
They got their own metal fabrication plant and dabble in bike building. But Sr bought Jr a 2005 Harley Electraglide for his birthday.
That should make ya sit and ponder!
Rice Boy! :-)
I agree. It seems that all they do anymore is change the tank, paint and handlebars.
No wonder there is such tension (boredom?) in the shop!
Now that'd be something.
Actually, in one of this month's motorcycle magazines (sorry, I don't know which one it is, and I don't have it here at home), they talk about a diesel sport bike, that's pretty "frisky," and still gets well over 100 MPG. It comes from europe.

Where are the downriggers and swizzle sticks???
Hmmmm.... my favorite uncle works for Cat.... maybe I'll have to see if he can finagle me a way to check this out. :-)
Or you could be REALLY hardcore and go for a Wankel rotary engine.
Wow! I haven't had a bike in twenty years, but I wouldn't mind having one of these.
