Now he tells me.
I thought everyone knew.
Here's a good one for you. My daughter and I foster dogs. We've had a couple rough ones, most notably a big old cattle dog who was terribly neglected and now lives on his couch in my backyard and is a big old sissy pie going up for adoption. Now we got a little sheltie/cocker mix. She has cigarette burns on her, and is so foot/hand shy that getting within 10 feet of her is a miracle. So, we got some welding gloves (oh, yes indeedie, she will bite. I've been bitten a couple times), and have been slowly intergrating her with the rest of the tribe (cattle dog, various peke/pom/chihuahua, for a total of 7). This weekend, we finally were able to let her loose in the yard out of the kennel. She's also an escape artist, but she's being watched today. She seems to work better when the rest of the dogs are around (she gets jealous). Anyone have any further suggestions? We want to be able to find her a home, so we are trying to rehab her with the least amount of trama..... but trama is this little girl's middle name.
