I just read the freepmail. If this is a divorce/custody case, be assured that it is common to hear stories about the evil spouse and even Grand Juries proably have heard the same story, different people.

The best thing our freeper friend can do is find a lawyer to represent him/her and see if they can delay the Grand Jury hearing until they can get some additional facts. If he/she can't find someone, then the best thing to do is say as little as possible but tell the absolute truth but I surely would try to find a lawyer for advice!

Hopefully they can find some legal representation. It sounds like a serious problem, so perhaps a legal aid lawyer can help. The lawyer referral service that can be found in the Yellow Pages can arrange an appointment with a qualified lawyer for a minimal amount. That is one option that he/she can still do on Monday.

Hi Jen...

Fortunately, the freepmail has brought out a few wonderful ideas, as well as some referrals! Looks like there is one person who is able to give some advise that is looking better than what was given in the past.

One thing that has been a problem is advice that seemed to be geared to getting the freeper in trouble. This from an attorney that was thought to be on the freeper's side, but then started giving questionable advice.
