We had a presentation for a run-off study at work one day where they had one of those automatic samplers set up on a golf course. They had to purty it all up and fit it into the landscape.
Heh!
They were supposed to pay him overtime for this work, but the city didn't get the grant. So now, to get the data for his thesis, if it rains while he's off the clock, he doesn't get paid for it. Now the other side of that coin is that if it rains while he's on the clock, he does get paid for it and it is data gathered for his paper.
The city wants the study done, they just don't want to pay (extra) for it. Steve wants the study done even if he has to do it for free.
It was disappointing though, that he wasn't gonna get paid for it...woulda been nice.
Did you hear what Peter Jennings said? Right there at the end?
I didn't catch it.
