[Overtaxed]

She's okay. She had a dog bite on her tail that she had to have cleaned out. She's taking amoxycillin for it and her tail is looking a little ragged.

Poor Miss Emily!! I hope she is tolerating the amoxycillin okay.

Louise was given more powerful antibiotics when she had her teeth cleaned in November, and she had a terrible time with them. After the first two caused all sorts of gastric problems, the vet gave us amoxycillin but he said to wait til her gastric problems were cleared up before we gave it to her. Since it took close to a week for her to get back to normal, I just decided not to give her the antibiotics, and luckily, she didn't get sick from the teeth cleaning. I know I really took a gamble, but I felt so bad about her getting sick from the first medicines I didn't want to chance her getting sick again.
