So far I'm still kinda looking for the not-quite-middle-aged-but-possibly-balding type. Heh...far better than the almost-past-middle-aged-longhair-with-commitment-issues.
But mostly at this moment I'm hoping to find some groups to hang out with.

We had something like that at one point. Tam would drag it as far as the elastic would go and then let go, and they'd both go nuts over it as it bounced around.
The dangerous thing is that I'm now not too far from a Petsmart. It's going to be tempting to experiment with toys.

I have never asked you out. Which means you aren't pathetic... It's silly but I had two of them in the last year who I thought were gonna. And one was married. Ew.

I don't mind balding. I do mind middle aged. I am not dating anyone old enough to be my father. The balding's not the problem, it's just a symptom.

I need to hit a fabric store and make a dangly one strong enough for them to go nuts over... come to think of it I might have some elastic in a sewing drawer some place... I only needed a little for some projects so there may be enough there. The new house has cat ledges mounted on two of the windows. I know they will love those. If they current owners take them I will have to build new ones.

depends on where yer comin' from... smart@$$
We're lookin' at visiting my cousin in St. Louis then going on to Ft. Wayne and/or Chicago. But every route combination I look at has me going thru St. Louis both ways.
I'd rather not travel the same road twice if we can avoid it.

Well, I've cleaned stalls, raked the front where we want to seed some more, and I'm about to go out and spread horse poo. I'm wearing shoes that I always thought had such high arches that they felt funny. Maybe that's what I need.
To: JenB
I know, I know. Though some go bald early...
The sad thing is, considering how young your Dad is, *I* could potentially date someone your Dad's age, though it'd depend a lot on the guy. In general, I'm thinking within two years younger or five years older.

Don't know where you are at, but Ft Wayne is far enough east that you might be able to take the route that bypasses SL to the east. There is a reason they call it a cross roads I guess.

We'd be coming through St. Louis to see a cousin, then goin' to visit Stinky.
From there we're looking at Ft. Wayne and Chicago with a trip back through Cleveland (Jr. wants to do the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame).
I got nine days at the most.

Nah, you're still much closer to my age than his. I'm ok dating someone a few years older, or even a year or so younger, but not too wide an age gap.
