New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Sounds beautiful!
I sure hope we get to come visit your way!
Right now, however, we're gonna sit down and watch last night's new South Park that we couldn't stay up late enough to watch :~D
See you later, if I don't fall asleep the minute I hit the couch!

got tinnitus bad... from fire... especially due to an 8" SP Howitzer what kicked off a round when I was 40 yards down range... it's irritatin' but you can live with it...
had a serious bout of malaise, diarreah and just feelin' funny aboit 2 years after SWA... lasted about 6 months... docs said there was nuthin' wrong with me... course it was Navy medicine...
~snif~
We just found out tonight that my sister-in-law double booked our week at the beach. She's already cashed their check. She offered a couple of other weeks that don't work. And she offered to help find another house.
We don't know what we'll do yet...
That rash sounds like no fun. That it moves around sounds like a lymphic sort of thing. I had an allergic reaction to poison oak many years ago that got into the lymph system. Took ~forever~ for the rashes to stop popping up all over.
"Inconclusive" is at least maybe some good news inasmuch as the really bad stuff tends to be better known. I dunno. Not a doctor, and didn't stay at a holiday inn express last night. :-)
should I come and... "fix" the pro'lem?...
~sigh~
I don't reckon. We'll figger somethin' out...
this should free you up fer ShootMoot...
it don't work that way. family can't make ShootMoot.
We ~need~ a vacation away from this house.
It doesn't inflate. It just sucks. :-)
Heh.
you would know
its patently obvious...
I got a rash on my side that itched a couple of years ago that turned out to be shingles. Until I got it myself I had always thought it was just something people got that itched a little bit and then went away. It didn't take me long to find out that there's some very intense pain that comes with it that can linger for a long period of time.
We live and learn.
it's just yer gaydar...
Yah... shingles is a nasty one. Dad got that sometime back, and it was miserable for him.
My poison oak episode was just plain bizarre. Got it on a camping trip with a friend out to an island in puget sound. Best we figure, some poison oak leaves got thrown into the camp fire along with some of the wood we gathered and I breathed it in with the camp fire smoke. I happen to be -really- allergic to poison oak.
I woke up the next morning and my face was so swollen I couldn't see. To make a really long story short... the doctor said that it would take a long time for the allergen to work its way out of my system. I reported for boot camp a few months later and was almost thrown out on a medical (because of a massive hideous rash on my leg) until I convinced the doc to call my home town doctor and get the OK that I didn't have leprosy or something. But... it still took maybe another two years for the rashes to stop popping out from time to time.
I'll tell ya... it made boot camp ~no~ fun at all. It hurt like hell. :-)
My first HH post. Has it been that long?
Heh... which thread was that... the first one?
I do.
Well, actually, my archive remembers for me.
