LUFKIN, Texas (AP) -- The would-be teen mother arrived by ambulance last May, her belly bruised, the twin fetuses she carried for five months gone and her lips tightly sealed. Authorities assumed 16-year-old Erica Basoria had been beaten and they charged her boyfriend, Gerardo "Jerry" Flores, 18, with murder under the state's new law protecting the unborn. Interesting. He's charged with murder for assisting her in exercising her constitutional right to have an abortion. The lawyers are going to have an interesting time with this one.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Sometimes I wonder if the whole world has gone crazy. There are so many people doing bizarre things.
Miscarriage is the unintentional spontaneous loss of a fetus.
Murder must eventually be applied to these sorts of acts unless they endanger the life of the mother.
But, was this different than any normal abortion?
I guess the moral of the story is if you're a mother and you want to kill your unborn child's life, step on your own stomach.
Just in that the boyfriend wasn't a licensed professional baby killer-
You have to go to school for many years to become a professional
Would the "DR." in Kansas charge his regular rate of $5,000 for a late term abortion, in the case of twins would it have been $10,000?
Yes, this was actually less brutal than your average "doctor"-performed abortion.
As a mother of twins, this story saddens me deeply.
Oh my heavens....
What are these people thinking?!
