" Brave Cardinal." Sometimes I think the courting season makes them bold as well as frisky. They DO have to make an impression, you know. If I remember correctly, this pair were both males, but there were at least a couple of females nearby.

When I first started feeding the birds, the first couple of years, I only had a pair of Cardinals. Now there are many. I love when they bring their juveniles to eat. They are the first to come in the morning and the last at night. It's great listening to their chatter at night.
