Thank you in advance! A truck was parked near my home taking pictures. I was able to get the licence plate number, does anyone know if that number can be checked on line?
Did you or anyone around you get "hurt" at work recently? Insurance investigators use such tactics.

No injury from work. We are having a dispute with a neighbor. They didn't like our Bush signs and have made our lives a living hell. We are in litigation seeking an order of protection. The neighbor has blocked my wife in while she was attempting to back out of our driveway. Two of our vehicles windows have been smashed out. We have installed cameras and house alarms. So far over 2k spent on att. fees and always continued, based on court overload. My wife wants to move, very hard times for us. The neighbor has submitted false claims as well, stating that I go over and threaten him. Real mess.

Sorry to hear that maineman. My wife and I are getting ready to move out of liberal, open-minded, progressive, tolerant, peace-loving New England, also. Can't stand that I live in the state that is trying to push same-sex marriage on the rest of the country. All of this tolerance is starting to get to me.
Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Don't hesitate to call the local cops when they display outward agression... at least you'll have it on paper for when you can use it.

Maine has a law called 'illegal surveillance'. If I took pictures, I would need to provide info. to the Police as to why.
What a screwed up place to live. But maybe - "Officer, it was so artistic the way the sun was bouncing off that weirdo's truck while he was surreptitiously taking picture of my house and family, I just had to take a picture for my den." - might have kept you out of jail.
I've never been to anger management counseling, so I would suggest that you go stomp his guts out (when there are no witnesses) but thats just me.
its not unusual for lending institutions to take pictures - I chased one down once- and errr ahh - asked him a few questions
Your neighbor sounds like precisely the right kind of person that is trying desperately to move into Canada and out of this hateful fascist Bushworld. I have a truck, I'll help them move!
