Having lived in Sweden for many years, this fits in with the "high school student government" model, adopted by the somewhat under-educated social democrats. If you assume the perspective of a bunch of 16 year olds who never actually take responsibility for anything other than dictating how other people should lead their lives, this all makes perfect "pseudo psycho babble" sense.
I've only visited for a week. Loved the handcrafted items....food was good.....countryside is lovely. But clearly, the taxing socialists nincompoops are running the place.
