By way of background, a local trapper shot a couple of dogs who got caught in his traps a few weeks ago. There was a story in the paper, and most of the responses I've seen have severely criticized the trapper. This is first letter I've seen coming down on his side.
The writer makes an excellent point about city people who move to the county. They often let their dogs run loose, and either don't realize or don't care that their pets can injure valuable livestock and other property.

I am almost as tired of suburbanites who get a subscription to Country Living magazine and move to the country as I am of Muslims. Both groups seem to whine to an equal degree, and they both need to move back where they came from.
