I have a hard time deciding which is sadder:

--Kerry going around accepting all these empty accolades on his way to irrelevance.
or
--These toadies who keep choosing him for their honors.

I'm leaning toward the toadies.

FROM KAUSFILES:

"Alexandra Kerry sucks up to the press (from her diary in the Feb/March "BlackBook"):

***Flew back to Boston for Thanksgiving and found myself sandwiched in the middle seat between a man who had not showered in a month and a gum-popping nubile. It reminded me of the campaign plane. Amazing how little reporters shower and how much gum they chew.***

Hmm. Maybe some of those smelly reporters have a few leftover campaign notes."

LOL! Can't you just picture her all slumped over, scribbling in her little diary about the horrors of flying commercial?! A diary. From a person supposedly so busy running her father's campaign. Can anyone imagine Laura Bush or Condoleeza Rice keeping a diary? Of course not...they know they'll be judged by their results, not their day-to-day feelings. If Alexandra had a lick of sense she would recognize such childishness had a lot to do with why Americans didn't trust the Kerrys.

LOL! Who wouldn't pick toadies over John Francoise Kerry?

High fuel and commodity prices helped push down profits for H.J. Heinz Co., the maker of ketchup and other foods, by more than 24 percent during the third quarter, the company reported Monday, Feb. 28, 2005.
