KID ROCK BLASTS OUTSPOKEN STARS
KID ROCK has attacked celebrities who offer their opinions on the war in Iraq, because he doesn't think stars are intelligent enough to publicly criticise the US President.
The Republican rap-rock star admits he's the last person who should comment on political matters and, though he doesn't always agree with President GEORGE W BUSH, he does support the commander-in-chief and troops fighting for Iraq's freedom.
In a new interview with PLAYBOY magazine, Kid Rock - real name BOB RITCHIE - attacks stars like DIXIE CHICK NATALIE MAINES and feminist comic-turned-anti-Bush radio host JANEANE GAROFALO for thinking they know better than the President.
He rages, "I'm not educated enough to speak about it (the war), and I don't think any of these other motherf**kers are, either.
"I'm pretty sure Janeane Garofalo's and that chick from the Dixie Chicks' educations don't stretch that far.
"Look up CONDI RICE or GEORGE BUSH's education, where they went to school. They've been doing this shit their whole f**king lives, while we've been out dicking around with guitars, entertaining people.
"F**kers in Hollywood who want to use the camera to be like, 'Guess who I'm f**king now?' and 'Oh, stop the war!' - all that shit just makes me sick."
He didn't "speak ill of idiot entertainers who speak ill of the President" as you call it. What he did was say that these people who show no patriotism make him sick. He said he hates the Hollywood types who are try to run down our country.
Also, I've never heard him speak ill of this President or of President Cliton, so you need to come with something way better than that, when you start pitching accusations of hypocrisay.
Oh, and Hatebreed as well. VERY supportive of the troops.
hey when he's right he's right! Go Kid Rock!
"Today, he speaks about idiot entertainers who speak ill of the President, etc.
Yesterday, he was that idiot entertainer he is now complaing about"
I'm sorry, BUT YOU ARE WRONG!!! He most certainly DID NOT speak ill of the president, and let's not forget the words "DURING WARTIME", because that is very fu*king important!!! He said he was not educated enough to speak about the war..... Read the article before you spew falsehoods.
Slayer are too!
Hatebreed has some really good stuff.
Iced Earth - the Glorious Burden is amazing.
SSSLLLAAAAYYYEEERRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
He's a rocker, they all have foul mouths. I'm pretty sure Mick Jagger and the older rockers are just as bad. Always have been, always will be. Goes with the territory.
We lived in another world in 1990. Granted, his language leaves much to be desired, but I bet 90% of us have thought what he said at one time or another. I know I have.
No one can deny that when the world changed, he stepped up to the plate. He stepped up to the plate for those who served on the USS Cole.
He could have gone on with his life staying out of the poltical arena. But he did not. He has been consistent. More than that, he has put his money where his mouth is. I think it would be hard to find a better friend to those serving in the military than Kid Rock.
He most certainly did speak in a very poor way about Bush I and Barbara Bush.

That is not the same thing.
In my day, Alice Cooper was every parent's nightmare. My parents and the parents of my friends all thought he was THE evil one.
Look at him now! Who'da thunk?
But since you're a conservetive, you know when foul language isn't appropriate. If Kid were a conservative, my guess is that he wouldn't be cursing like a sailor (In this case, a sailor from a wealthy Boston family who demanded three Purple hearts for "Band-aid" wounds, but I digress...) in a magazine interview.
Maybe you did. A lot of us were still conservative back then. The world hasn't changed, Kid Rock maybe grew up. Great, just shut up. He is no champion of conservative thought. Fine, he's a patriot who likes our armed forces...wonderful. His trashing of other entertainers rings hollow, since he was that idiot entertainer jusy a few short years ago - that's all.
Thanks for the ping, I love reading your threads...
HATEBREED - "Perseverance" is an amazing album.
"Never forget" great pro-military song.
SLAYER - "Silent Scream" - anti-abortion song.
They always commend the troops at their concerts.
Iced Earth - Independance Day - Very Patriotic!
Metalheads are far far more patriotic than hip hop fans.
Go to any biker party or metal concert and you will see so many patriotic flags! It shows you who is really patriotic and who is not.
I get your point about his music, I was simply speaking to his conversational style of cursing in this interview. It doesn't come as any surprise that these guys swear.
Ooh, we need a link to that one!
He's not a Bush democrat. He's a conservative in the Ted Nugent vein, perhaps more of a libertarian with a neocon foreign policy stance.
