Good Morning All.
In the days of yore, when the most brilliant women of the universe ruled the whitehouse, the dnc and presstitutes complained we conservatives were afraid of STRONG, POWERFUL women, remember? I seem to remember she dressed according to the times, her hair always looked clean and in place. Now the Republicans have a brilliant, beautiful and powerfull Sec. of State and she doesn't dress according to the dnc's idea of "well dressed", ahhh the shame of it. She'll never be mistaken for the cleaning lady.

Thank you! I hadn't seen this, what a comment for her to make on national TV (although I wouldn't necessarily call it an "international incident" like Newsmax does.
Good for Jaffari.

It was on Fox.
I didn't hear it........just saw it, so I don't know if it was another "aide" or not.
I don't see anything on FR about it either.

Here's the link on Fox.
It says the leader of a terrorist cell was captured. Not very clear even in print.

BAGHDAD, Iraq Iraqi forces captured the leader of an Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist cell allegedly responsible for carrying out a string of beheadings in Iraq, the government said, but declined to give a date for the arrest. Meanwhile, three U.S. soldiers were killed and eight wounded in a roadside bomb blast just north of the Iraqi capital on Friday. This is what the article on the Fox website said, and it had a picture of al Zarqawi next to it. Doesn't say if there's a connection.....

From that Fox link:
The government identified the captured cell leader as Mohamed Najam Ibrahim (search). It said he was arrested in Baqouba, 35 miles northeast of Baghdad. Officials said Ibrahim's operation was linked to Jordanian-born terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (search), who leads a shadowy insurgency affiliated with Usama bin Laden's Al Qaeda network.
Ibrahim carried out beheadings with his brother, the government said. Officials said he was being interrogated by authorities for information they hoped would lead to other arrests.

Thanks for the link, looks like a Zarqawi associate to me according to the article. Sad news about some of our brave soldiers paying the ultimate price for our freedom. Prayers for their families.

Got it.
I figured it wasn't Zarqawi, or it would be bigger news, but the photo with the muted story got my hopes up.
I do too much multi-tasking (paying bills and getting airline tickets at the same time as I'm trying to find out what's going on in the world!)
Thanks for the info!

Steyn was just super, I really enjoyed that. He handled the whiney lib callers with unflappable style. Told the last whiner who complained that every culture was special and basically accused him of being racist, that he wasn't a multiculturalist either and while there were tons of Muslims in Scandinavia there were darned few Scandinavians in Saudi Arabia. Heh!

Prayers for your son, kassie. He'll do fine.
It's cold up here, how is it down there. The temperature is 41 degrees. I have to wear a sweat shirt today.

Our low was 49, but right now it's 51. Furnace has been on a couple of times this morning.
Thanks for the prayers. This year he's old enough to be in the knock out division. He is 14 but will spar with 17 year olds. I know it's a full contact sport, but I can't help but worry...
