AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1497) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 25, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 02/25/2005 4:31:26 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The Pope's tracheotomy means that, without external aids, he will now be unable to speak.

Canada has refused to join America in building an anti-missile defense shield for the continent. In effect, this surrenders Canadian sovereignity to the United States with respect to their airspace--the chances that America would ignore a missile in flight over Canada is nil, despite protestations from Ottawa that Canada expects to be consulted regarding any violation of their airspace.

The Center for [Junk] Science in the Public Interest said the Federal Government has done little to regulate the amount of salt in food.

And, the Washington Pravda, in their continuing assualt on the Administration, took issue with Sec'y Rice's clothing selection as she visited the American army facility in Wiesbaden. The rag stated: "Rice boldly eschewed the typical fare chosen by powerful American women on the world stage. She was not wearing a bland suit with a loose-fitting skirt and short boxy jacket with a pair of sensible pumps. She did not cloak her power in photogenic hues, a feminine brooch and a non-threatening aesthetic. ... Rice's coat and boots speak of sex and power -- such a volatile combination, and one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal. When looking at the image of Rice in Wiesbaden, the mind searches for ways to put it all into context. It turns to fiction, to caricature. To shadowy daydreams. Dominatrix! It is as though sex and power can only co-exist in a fantasy. When a woman combines them in the real world, stubborn stereotypes have her power devolving into a form that is purely sexual. He sold his forgeries...that's how all this came about.

Some man (who was named) lives in Churchill's area, and collects native American art, and bought at least two pieces from Churchill-----then recently discovered the mirror image of one in an artbook by the original artist.

I think Churchill's master's degree is now under scrutiny. Churchill is just a total fraud.

When the time changes in April, Indiana will again be on central time and I may have a shot of being up late enough to say hello to you in real time!

Good morning! I see more investigation is being done on the Ward Churchill art forgery this morning. I am going to busy myself about that until I have to make my husband breakfast.

Ward Churchill is a painter. It turns out that at least two of his paintings are frauds. One is a mirror copy of a published artist, discovered by the guy who purchased the painting from Churchill when he found the original painting in a book. Another painting is an exact copy of an Indian photograph, like he traced it and then went over it in pen and ink.

There is a long thread on it on the news forum called "Churchill Art Piece called into question."

While I was searching for his art this morning, I came upon a blog written by someone on the Colorado faculty. It had this interesting passage:

'Kimberly Hickel is a former student of Churchill's who says she was in his class on April 19, 1995, when the Oklahoma City bombing took place.

"He actually stood in front of our class and said how the FBI got what they deserved. It was awful," said Hickel, who graduated from CU in 1997.

Some of the students tried to argue with Churchill, saying the innocent children killed in the day-care center didn't deserve to die. But he refused to allow them to speak their minds.

After that, Hickel boycotted his class and wrote a letter to Churchill, attacking his point of view. He, in turn, gave her a D- for the class. She complained to his superiors, but said they did nothing.

"The whole school is afraid of him," she said. "He is hiding behind free speech. But he doesn't allow students to stand up for free speech," Hickel said.'

>>He is hiding behind free speech

I just put my coffee pot on 'go' and waiting for it to get enough to get that first cup.

I am STILL full, went to a casino last night had FRIED, boiled, barbecue, shrimp, fried and raw oysters, catfish, frog legs, salmon, a big piece of prime rib and to say still stuffed is putting it mildly.

My goodness. That's a lot of food. No wonder you aren't hungry this morning. Do you think you'll ever be hungry again?

N-E-V-E=R! I am still miserable. BUT, I put a twenty in a dollar machine on the way up to eat and on the third pull HIT THE JACKPOT. Sure made my food taste a whole lot better. Yes, I walked away after the jackpot.

Thanks for that picture of Steyn, lysie. He's much younger than I would have expected and I'll keep my eye out for him in the future.
