One line that made me laugh: "How many gay guys does it take to milk a goat?".

The real question is, how many gay guys does it take to drive a vehicle? Honestly, now. It was pathetic.

Side note: Kelly got rather cocky last night. She acted like a total drama queen. "I just want to point out that I haven't mentioned one thing that Ron has done wrong so far, but Ron has mentioned everything I have done wrong so far", right into the camera. IOW: Oh, pity me, I am the poor victim, v-i-c-t-i-m!! (hurl) Neither Mom nor I heard Ron say the F word to Kelly. I think she made it up for *gasp* pity.

Side side note: I wonder what would have happened if it had been a non-elimination round. Try going into an international airport in swimsuits, snowcaps and scarfs. Can you say, "international incident"? ;) It would have been fun. :)

Side side SIDE note: When did Phil become so interested in fashion? He made two or three comments centered around fashion (fashion police, fashion award, etc). Sounded weird.

Side side side SIDE note: I'm all done with the side notes. Can't wait for tonight's episode!

I hate that it looks like the photo background spoiler is true. Guess I'll have to cheer for Uchenna and Joyce since cheering for Rob/Amber or the girls is just not possible for me.

Can someone (like you if you feel like it) freepmail me if the episode tonight carries any actual racing? Then I can know whether or not to get it.

I read somewhere that Ron & Kelly were put together for the Miss America pageant (or some pageant derivative). Each contestant was supplied a male military escort. She was placed with Ron and they started dating after that

I wondered how long it took them to put on the swim suits. Seemed like it wasn't a good use of time.

Yes he seems a bit dim....and he wasn't very nice last night. She wanted to help with the milking and he cut her off and she told him she couldn't do the balancing and he was some what rude. I know he was in race mode but when he went to do the log moving she started treating him the way he had been treating her. Causing him to lag behind. They just do not work well together.

I have a feeling they knew they were last. They wheel into the goat milking parking lot just as Metch is leaving, so they knew they were XX minutes behind (XX= however long it took to milk a goat).

But you're right, they stop to put on the swimsuits after continually saying, "We won't give up". And they did that at the river crossing, not at the log drag. They could have caught one or both of the teams who had to go back (maybe...they were w-a-a-a-ay back there).

Another thing. How come Team Exlax got two new vehicles? They should have been made to change the flat. The rules are "replacement for mechanical breakdown through no fault of your own" How do we know they didn't drive over a cactus? Just a nit-pick, but a flat tire is not a mechanical breakdown.

They were W-A-A-A-AY back there. Got lost twice in the bush (CBS has the web videos online.) Changing clothes didn't affect their position.

As to Exlax's second vehicle.. According to a friend of mine over at CBS, it was an issue of safety. The only time they wanted contestants outside their vehicle was in controlled areas.. So they got a vehicle instead of having to change the tire themselves.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. After all you're driving through country where you'll be dead within 45 seconds of being pricked, bit, mauled, stomped, or gored. It's safer in the vehicle.

Who do you think will win in the end?

From one of my earlier posts to this thread: Based on past performance, there is presedence for the following teams to be in the final three: Lynn / Alex, Ron / Amber, and Ron / Kelly. All three of these teams are still in at this point so my prediction is still could pan out.

I personally like Uchenna / Joyce but I have a bad feeling that they're not going to make it to the end. It's like TAR eliminates the "likeable" teams out of spite. The exception to this trend was the black couple in TAR5 who won. Most of the TAR "winners" have been IMHO, real loosers.

When the Band of Brothers blew their tire in Germany (IIRC in TAR3), they had to change it on their own.

Your stats are a little different from the alleged TAR winner giveaway photo backgrounds noted in post 352. ExLax, Romber, and Juchenna seem to be the final three according to this insight.

I thought Kendra of Freddy and Kendra, who won last time, was quite amusing, though most freepers hated her. Her ignorant comments (Ghetto Africa, etc.) reminded me of myself 20 years ago when I didn't know much about the real world. But we grow and learn, jriemer.

Having a hard edge helps winners and not having one defeats losers. At least it seems to in TAR. Survivor is another story with wimps voting out the competent guys and winning so often, it's become a boring show.

Ron and Kelly must have been put together on a blind date by publicity agents or something...

I think I read somewhere that he was her escort somewhere (the pageant???)

"If you get them to relax, they give it up easier. Like a date."

Guess who said that?
