I'm sorry, but the top 10 should consist solely of Westerns and war movies.

agreed. Godfather, matrix and caddyshack are just good movies. Not "Guy" movies.

Oh c'mon, what about Steel Magnolias? I mean, I don't want to come off sounding like some kinda queer, but that was a really good movie. Tell me you didn't get weepy when Julia Roberts died? That was a real tear jerker. Get me that film, a box of bon-bons, a head full of curlers, and a big box of Puffs Plus, that's a good time!
And don't get me started on Terms of Endearment...

I'm sorry - THE MATRIX? That belongs on the top ten list of Geek Movies made by and for guys who like to wear women's clothing.
Where's THE WILD BUNCH? GUNGA DIN? THE WAGES OF FEAR? THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING? ZULU?
So many missing.

And any list that does not include "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", with partially nude scenes of Lena Olin & Juliette Binoche ain't complete.

Chevy Chase's "Fletch" made the list and "Patton" didn't?!?!? That list is hereby declared null and void.
To: pissant
Yes, after the top 10, this list sucks.
There needs to be more war movies, fighting, and comedy on this list.
For example, where is "Roadhouse"?

For an actual drama that I'd consider a good guy movie, watch Tender Mercies with Robert Duvall. An astonishing performance from beginning to end.

My two cents as a woman: Die Hard was one of my favorite movies of all times, and I'm partial to period movies and southern flicks.
Second runner up: Animal House. because i lived there in college.

Yeah, Patton is possibly the best guy movie I ever saw.
And Bridges of Madison County caused a terrible rift in my family. My three daughters and I went to see it and my eldest and I started making cracks about how corny it was,,the other two left our seats and were so mad, well, they still can't talk about it.
